Banana Oat Meal Cookies with Raisins.

How can baking biscuits ever be quick? You usually must have a scale, carefully measure out all the ingredients, caress the dough for ages, then cut out small cookies into heart, moon and star shapes then wait a second century'til they are baked.

NEVER EVER would I bake biscuits under these conditions. That is just how I roll. But after that I stumbled upon these Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies (that is what I call them, anyhow.)

Ok, they do not taste exactly like the biscuits you get round Christmas time. Instead they're a bit more gooey and do not crumble in any respect.

However, what largely convinced me was that you could have them ready in 25 minutes such as the baking time! No shit.

Possibly the most surprising thing about the cookies is that they call for only 2 ingredients! Yep that is right, and anybody can mix two components.

Though in case you would like to make them tastier and/or healthier you can pimp them up using a few add ons like raisins, walnuts or cinnamon. That's Your Choice!

It seems increasingly like a sales pitch (it's not -- nobody is gont cover me if you consume them), but I have to say yet another amazing thing about those cookies.

They are tasty! Yep, after I had had the initial I finished the rest within an hour.

They're ideal for hiking trips or other occasions where you need a quick energizing snack on the go. Now I keep them as a fast snack in my back pack.

It also has to be noted that they're vegan. No eggs, no milk, no none of the standard cookie supposes. Simply oats and bananas.

Health Benefits -- Banana Oatmeal Fitness Cookies

First I wished to call them"Fitness Cookies" -- because I still think official source these will be the only really healthy cookies that have been produced by humanity.

Take oats for example. Not merely do they decrease your cholesterol levels which subsequently can help you stop developing heart disease or diabetes, but in addition they energize you with good carbs and nutrients to help keep you going for longer throughout the day.

These nutrients include manganese, great for bone production and skin ethics as well as magnesium -- significant for energy generation to allow you to feel fuller

Much like bananas -- the favourite fruit among athletes -- not only because they have an adequate quantity of good carbohydrates but for being the big players in the potassium video game.

Potassium is a very important nutrient for avoiding tiredness and muscle cramps. Pretty good if you've got a challenging day ahead of you.

As you can see, I am a big fan.

What's your favourite on the go food?

Perhaps you have been stuck somewhere in nature and thought"damn I am in trouble!" ? If yes, where? Simply mix bananas and oats and then bake them for 15 minutes. Best for when you will need a power boost on the move. Enjoy!

If you don't have that make sure to wash the baking dish with butter (or olive oil if you're vegetarian )

To produce the cookie contour just grab a spoon and garnish a decent amount from the mixture onto the baking dish like I did in the photo above. It is super fast and easy.

Off it goes into the oven for approximately 15 - 20 minutes.

EQUIPMENT: you only need a solid baking dish and some parchment paper, cool as.
